Inside Line Promotions – NORTHFIELD, Vt. (Aug. 24, 2017) – Not only is Evan Hallstrom active on the race track, he’s also a participant in his community as an ambassador for seat belt safety with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and Vermont Highway Safety Alliance.

Earlier this year and prior to getting his driver’s permit, Hallstrom reached out to the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and Vermont Highway Safety Alliance in an attempt to educate the public about highway safety and seat belt safety.

Throughout the season Hallstrom has been participating in a media tour with the Highway Safety Program and Alliance, providing interviews with multiple television and radio stations along with speaking at several different schools, in order to promote seat belt safety and ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaigns.

“It’s been really cool to go to these different high schools and talk with them about seat belt safety,” Hallstrom said. “Buckling up is the first thing that I do in a regular passenger vehicle and in my race car. I’m wanting to get the message across that it’s the cool and safe thing to do.”

Hallstrom has appeared on WLVB, CBS affiliate WCAX-TV and WOKO, which is encompassed under the umbrella of Hall Communications. It aired the interview on five stations – WJOY, WKOL, WOKO, KOOL 105 and The Buzz 99.9. To watch or listen to the interviews, visit http://www.Hallstrom-Motorsports.com.

Additionally, Hallstrom will be at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, Vt., as well as appearing at a couple of conferences this fall for the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and Vermont Highway Safety Alliance.

Hallstrom, who is coming off a podium finish during his most recent race, will return to the race track this Saturday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt.
