Hallstrom Motorsports, which is based in Northfield, Vt., has Evan Hallstrom as its development driver racing a late model weekly at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt. Hallstrom will also be competing in select races in a super late model with the Pro All Star Series.

Last year Hallstrom finished second overall in the late model points standings at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, Vt., and he won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Rookie of the Year in the late model division. Hallstrom capped the season by competing in the Milk Bowl at Thunder Road International Speedbowl, where he was the youngest driver in the modern era to qualify for the event at only 15-years-old.
