Inside Line Promotions – NORTHFIELD, Vt. (July 11, 2018) – Evan Hallstrom is taking his talent to the next level by making his debut in a super late model this weekend at Oxford-Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine.

“I’m excited to be able to jump behind the wheel of the super late model this weekend,” he said. “Super late models have more horsepower and bigger tires than the late model so it will be a learning experience to say the least.”

Hallstrom will help setup the super late model on Friday before traveling to Oxford-Plains Speedway on Saturday, when he will test from early morning to mid-afternoon before the weekly racing activities begin.

“I know my crew will give me a good piece to work with for Saturday and we can adapt and learn as the day goes on,” he said. “We have moved up the ranks pretty quickly and been able to adapt and be competitive so hopefully this weekend will follow down that same path.

“I’m really excited for a new challenge and to be able to learn and progress. I think we have learned a lot through our late model experience and continue to do so, but we are also ready to build on that and take the next steps. I think we will be able to pick up things quickly and will continue to race those guys as we have anybody else in order to earn respect and be a good competitor.”

Hallstrom plans on competing at Oxford-Plains Speedway on multiple occasions to gain experience as well as to prepare to make a run at qualifying into the prestigious Oxford 250 in late August.
