Inside Line Promotions – OXFORD, Maine (June 6, 2019) – Evan Hallstrom charged to a top-10 finish last Sunday at Oxford-Plains Speedway during a Pro All Stars Series North show.

“We unloaded pretty well at Oxford last weekend,” he said. “We tried something new to find some speed, but ended up having to make a couple of adjustments throughout the night.”

Hallstrom advanced one position in a heat race to finish ninth. That lined him up on the outside of the 11th row for the feature.

“We had to make a wholesale change after the heat race,” he said. “With only moving forward one spot in the heat race we knew that it just wasn’t going to cut it for the feature.”

At the drop of the green flag, Hallstrom began his charge to the front of the field. Within 70 laps he broke into the top 15 and continued to march forward. At the end of 150 circuits around the asphalt oval, Hallstrom ended in ninth to earn his first top 10 of the season.

“We made some ground in the feature and ended up with a decent finish,” he said. “We will regroup for the next couple of weeks before we head to the next big race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I’m looking forward to racing there for the first time in my career and seeing the speed that the track has.”

That next race in Loudon, N.H., is June 23 with the Pro All Stars Series North.
